It's 2239.
After a long time competing in cheap championships, your team has entrusted you to participate in the Quixrace Metro Championship, the two-ways high-speed, combat-based racing series.
You will have to complete the three seasons, each with a different engine installed in your anti-gravity vehicle.
Your vehicle will be loaded with weapons and power-ups that you would be able to activate during races to try to slow down your opponents or improve your own capabilities.
At Quixrace, the track is divided into two lanes, each with a different race running in opposite directions.
An electric barrier will prevent you from accessing the other lane.
You will need a converter to do so.
You will need to be fast and stay close to your opponents to be able to hit them.
You’d better eliminate them. The fewer of you there are, the better your chances of qualifying.
The final race of each season is an elimination race where only the last three remaining players will advance to the next season.
Round-robin.
In the first season, your vehicle will be equipped with a fuel engine that will allow you to reach speeds of up to 430 km/h.
In the second season, vehicles will run with nitrate engines, which can reach speeds of 570 km/h.
And in the final season, if you make it, you'll be able to race with a fusion engine, with top speeds of 720 km/h.
To enter the opposite lane, you'll need a converter.
There are 3 types.
The Basic one will allow you to enter the opposite lane, but you'll lose some speed.
The Advanced one will prevent you from losing speed while racing in the opposite lane.
And the Experimental one will recharge your nitro level while you're in the opposite lane.
But be careful. A head-on collision out of your own lane can put you out of the race.
Think first.
.
Your vehicle is equipped with a series of upgrades and weapons that you'll need to activate to use.
During the race, you'll find activation points for different types of power-ups: attack, defense, or speed. You'll recognize them by their color.
Have a clear strategy before passing through an activation point.
